KATE HANNAH PAPI
Kate is a British born theatre director, sound collector, writer and workshop leader.
She gained a first class degree in European Theatre Arts at Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama in 2003 and a Masters with distinction in acting with Piesn Kozla from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2004.
Kate has lived and worked in France since 2005 where she develops her artistic practice as the co director of OBRA and the Au Brana Centre.
OLIVIERO PAPI
Oliviero is an Italian born, Australian artist, performer and pedagog. He trained at the Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne, Australia and worked professionally in theatre for a number of years until he transferred to Europe in 2004.
Oliviero is a co-founder of OBRA and the Au Brana centre. With OBRA Oliviero is the co-creator of artistic projects, dramaturg, performer, workshop leader and teacher. He manages the facilities of the Au Brana centre and hosts artists in residence.
EMILIE VANNIEUWENHUYSE
After completing a masters in commerce and international management, Emilie returned to work in her preferred field of the performing arts, working for 17 years for CIRCa, a national centre for circus arts in Auch. At CIRCa Emilie had the pleasure to take on a number of different roles over the years; host of visiting artists in residence, technical assistant, Coordinator of the CIRCa festival, administrator and head of production and distribution. Since 2021 Emilie has worked as the administrator and production manager for two Gers theatre companies, OBRA and La Langue Ecarlate.
